Introduction: We have a fantastic interview with one of members of the cannabis club in Valencia

Interviewer: Good afternoon! Thank you for joining us today. Could you please introduce yourself and share a bit about your experience of moving to Valencia?

Interviewee: Good afternoon! My name is Maria, and I'm originally from Italy. I moved to Valencia a couple of years ago. It was quite a big change for me, leaving my home country and starting anew in a different place. At first, it was quite lonely, and I struggled to find my footing.

Interviewer: It can be challenging to adjust to a new environment. How did you cope with the loneliness and the cultural differences?

Interviewee: Well, I decided to explore various avenues to meet new people and connect with the local community. One day, I came across a cannabis association here in Valencia. Intrigued, I decided to check it out and see if it could provide some social interaction and a sense of belonging.

Interviewer: That's interesting. Can you tell me more about your experience with the cannabis association? How did it help you in your journey?

Interviewee: Absolutely! When I joined the association, I was welcomed by a diverse group of people who shared a common interest in cannabis. It felt like finding a second family. We would gather at the association, share stories, and spend time together. It was a safe space where I could express myself and feel accepted. The association became my community, my support system.

Interviewer: It sounds like the cannabis association played a significant role in your integration and sense of belonging. Have you had any negative experiences related to cannabis outside of the association?

Interviewee: Unfortunately, yes. There was a time when I bought cannabis from a street dealer, and the quality and safety of the product were questionable. I had a bad reaction to it and felt really unwell. That experience made me realize the risks of buying cannabis on the street. It made me fearful and cautious about purchasing it from unknown sources.

Interviewer: I can understand why that would be concerning. How does the association ensure the quality and safety of the cannabis they provide?

Interviewee: The association takes great care in sourcing their cannabis. They work with licensed suppliers who adhere to strict quality standards. They prioritize the well-being of their members, providing a controlled and regulated environment for cannabis consumption. Knowing that the association ensures the quality gives me peace of mind and confidence in the cannabis they offer.

Interviewer: It's reassuring to hear that the association prioritizes the safety of its members. From your perspective, how important are cannabis associations or clubs in Spain for the integration and adaptation of newcomers?

Interviewee: Cannabis associations or clubs in Spain play a crucial role in the integration and adaptation of newcomers. They provide a welcoming environment for individuals who share a common interest, facilitating social connections and a sense of community. For someone like me, who felt lonely and isolated initially, the association became a lifeline. It helped me build friendships, learn about the local culture, and feel like I belonged in Valencia.

Interviewer: That's wonderful to hear how the cannabis association positively impacted your experience. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us, Maria. Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Interviewee: Thank you for having me. I hope my experience sheds light on the importance of such associations for newcomers. They provide not only a place to enjoy cannabis but also a platform for personal growth, social interaction, and integration into a new community. I'm grateful for the support and friendships I've found within the association.

Interviewer: Thank you once again for your insights, Maria. We wish you all the best in your journey and continued success within the cannabis association.
