Compare the same questions
The EUDA’s European overview distinguishes national policy approaches. The existence of a European discussion does not mean there is one shared national rulebook for cannabis.
Use a comparison sheet
For each report, record the country, the activity under discussion, the date and the official source. Keep proposals, enacted laws and court judgments in separate columns. A parliamentary announcement and an effective legal change should never receive the same label.
Language is not jurisdiction
An English-language article may describe Spain, Germany or a US state. The publication language tells you who can read the article, not where its rules apply. Check the place named in the source before drawing a comparison.
Return to the original document
Use comparative explainers to locate primary material. If a source has changed, review the summary and its translations together. Our aim is to make differences understandable, not to provide cross-border advice about obtaining or transporting cannabis.
